All are in excellent playing condition; I am only selling them because of a knee injury which makes it difficult to haul the semi-grands and concert grand. The first is the Lyon & Healy Style 17 semi-grand. This is your opportunity to own a wonderful rare 17, as very few come up for sale used. This harp was owned by a harpist in Ashland, Kentucky in the 1970's who kept the harp in a temp-controlled living room and played it frequently. It is a lovely golden maple colour. The body is in perfect condition, and the mechanics were regulated, inspected, and fitted with 46 all new gut and wire strings and pedal felts in 2024 by Bell Harp Tech, Akron, OH. $16,450

THE SECOND HARP, A GOLD STYLE 23 from late 1920's, one of Lyon & Healy's best eras in harpmaking. This harp is in great condition. It was lovingly owned and constantly maintained and regulated, first by the San Diego Symphony harpist and more recently by Boston Symphony harpist Carol Baum Shisler, who played this harp in her home. It had major restoration in the 1970's. Now it has been newly re-gilded, regulated, all new strings, and given the "all clear" by Lyon & Healy's professional technicians. Amazing big, warm sound! The third harp is a mellow Lyon & Healy Style 85E semi-grand (46 strings) which has that wonderful 85 resonance! I love the sound of this harp and have used it for teaching in recent years, so students can hear a truly great sound. It is always kept in my temperature-controlled harp room and has been rarely moved for concerts, so only has a few small dings around the bottom.
I acquired this harp 10 years ago from Gerald Goodman, the respected New York professional harpist, who had my harp inspected and regulated by technician Liza Jenkins. Both of them pronounced this harp to have "a great voice!" and it does. This would be perfect for a student's first pedal harp, or for a gig harpist who would really appreciate the sound. $15,450
