A LITTLE ABOUT DR. DIANE'S WORK…
Harp vibration therapy is a gentle, whole-body music intervention designed to address specific symptoms, and may have calming, deeply relaxing, stabilizing, or mildly stimulating effects. It is effective as an adjunt to medical treatment, and is particuarly well received by even non-compliant patients. This therapy is normally administered in a 40-45 minute session while a person is sitting or reclining, and is experienced as restful and enjoyable.
When prayer is added to this work, the spiritual component increases the healing effects of the harp. The greatest improvement is seen in symptoms of anxiety; high blood pressure; stress, muscle tension, and chronic disease; sleeplessness or agitation; depression; grief process; and conditions with known emotional components such as digestive disorders, auto-immune diseases, PTSD, and eating disorders. Patients in rehabilitation, addiction recovery, or with Alzheimer's or Parkinson's also benefit.
In summary, the use of sequenced individualized tones, using certain keys, tempos, chord structures, and plucking techniques, have been shown to enhance wellness in these ways:
